Parish of Saint Anthony of Padua

DUGCAL MISSION STATION

 

The Dugcal Mission Station is situated at Brgy. Dugcal, Camaligan Camarines Sur with a total population of 2,134, with an area of 377 sq. meter and just 1.5 kms. away from its Mother Parish St. Anthony of Padua in Camaligan Camarines Sur, it started July, 2014 under the Administration of Rev. Fr. Joe-Nelo Penino.

The Dugcal Mission Station is consist of 5 barangays and 2 sitios, four of which under the Parish of Saint Anthony of Padua in Camaligan namely Sitio Of Gogon (Our Lady of Lourdes), Brgy. Dugcal (St. Anthony of Padua), Sitio Tampac (St. Peter), and Brgy. Sua, Camaligan (St. Isidore the Laborer) the other three under the Parish of Saint Dominic of Guzman in Gainza namely Brgy Sua, Canaman (St. Jose), Brgy. Mangayawan (St. Roque), and Brgy. Iquin (Our Lady of Salvation). Unfortunately due to a heart failure Fr. Penino could not exercise in the pastoral care of the Mission Station by January 6, 2015 the Archbishop of Caceres appointed Rev. Fr. Bernard M. Lagatic under the Code of Canon Law Book II, Part II, Section II, Title III, Chapter VI, Can. 515 1 and 2 to continue and administer in the pastoral care of the Mission Station. Furthermore, Rev. Fr. Lagatic established and organized a new set of Religious Organizations that will benefit the Mission Station. He then implemented certain rules and activities that will enhance the faith and trust of the people to Our Church, from which the community involves themselves in the participation and actively opens their religious belief to the new Church.
